Perfection?
Imperfections bring about perfection. :)
But you don't go chasing after perfection the entire time of your life. Because the imperfection of humankind is what has made the world colourful as it is today. Nothing is perfect in this world. Be patient, as the eternal space awaits us in the afterlife. Wallahu 'alam. :)

Hold On!
Assalam. Good evening, peeps! :)
Haven't really got anything to blabber about, for the past week. Initially, I wanted to share a lot of things, but nothing seemed to stand out, so I waited to choose a right time to go about composing. Alhamdulillah, I've finally found a little spare time, space and idea to pursue writing. Alhamdulillah. May Allah send me more of these things. Insya-Allah. Lets make du'a. Remember, Allah will provide. :D
Before I proceed, lets spend a minute on a Hadith by Sahih Bukhari :
Health. We put tons of workloads on ourselves, not giving it enough rest, and etc. And one day, when we finally fall sick, we blame the workloads. We are the one to blame! We are our body's "manager", we decide how we handle our body. Health is crucial. Yes, I'm telling that to myself as well. I'm mean towards myself. I put a lot of tensions, stress on myself. Not that I don't like to rest, but I am trained to be stressed out all the time. I am MEAN to myself, aren't I? =(
Time. Yes, we indeed have a lot of free time (sometimes). But, the question is now, did we spend it in doing good? Time is wasted like how people waste electricity nowadays. LOL. Excuse me. I'm not perfect. I do waste time too, A LOT indeed. Browsing through pointless pages of Facebook and etc. But, optimistically, I see everything as an opportunity. An opportunity to learn, self-developing skills. Only through experience do we learn the way things go about. Agree? Sometimes, even a status on Facebook could leave you deep impressions on life. Subhanallah. The point here is, take hold of every opportunity you have in this world to spread good. :)
So, that wasn't a minute spent. LOL. Anyways.
This week again, had been a little bit tiring. As usual. Life as a medical student is dull as told. But, we ought to change it to a more colourful one, shall we? Lets organise our life. Lets be great muslim and aim for Jannah! Prioritize your priorities! Insya-Allah. :D
P/S : Hold on tight. The road ahead may be bumpy. Hold on tight to what you believe is the truth and seek knowledge to make your beliefs firm. Insya-Allah. May Allah guide us towards the right path and grant us barakah. ;)

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: The Prophet said, "There are two blessings which many people lose: (They are) Health and free time for doing good."Health and free time to do good deeds. Hurm. Lets reflect upon ourselves. Isn't that true? We often neglect the bliss in life, gifted by Allah s.w.t. : Health and Time. Never did we appreciate them well.

Faith. Belief. :)
Hey ya, peeps! :)
I do not have that much knowledge right now. Insya-Allah, gaining from time to time. Sharing what I know, deep down. Do correct me, or you could even add-on things for this post. Jzzk. ;)
Here we go again, play time's over! And the hectic days are back on its league. Second semester, much more complicated it seemed. But, remember what our lover, Allah SWT said?
"Allah does not impose upon any soul a duty but to the extent of its ability; for it is (the benefit of) what it has earned and upon it (the evil of) what it has wrought : Our Lord! do not punish us if we forget of make a mistake; Our Lord! do not lay on us a burden as thou didst lay on those before us; Our Lord! do not impose upon us that which we have no strength to bear; and pardon us and grant us protection and have mercy on us, Thou art our Patron, so help us against the unbelieving people." [2 : 286]
We may not be strong at times, but Allah always sends out something, that little something which springs us back into our best state of mind. Best state of mind? Define that! Aite I will. Lets "swim" deeper into that weirdo term. :)
My definition on the term "Best State of Mind" is when one is at its peak of faith, spirit and could differentiate between what's right and what's not, think critically and sensibly. In simpler terms, it's simply the utmost happiest point in life! In this state, one wishes he/she could forever live in that particular day. That day when nothing disrupts one's mind, he/she is at total peace. Sounds so heavenly, does it? Ask yourselves, have you ever been in this state of mind? Yes, No? If so, what actually made your day?
This unexplainable feeling of being happy, feeling at peace, smiling all day long, optimism at its best, fully energetic, and etc etc. Not even a single thing could interrupt one that particular day. Hyperactivity? No.
Ever heard of Iman (إيمان)? It means inner faith in Islam. There is 6 articles of faith in Islam. What are they? Lets do a recap, friends.
- Belief in Allah
- Belief in Prophets
- Belief in Angels
- Belief in Divine Books
- Belief in Qiamah (The Day of Judgement)
- Belief in Qadr (Fate/Predestination)
Having faith is believing in something, very deeply and holding on to it. A total divine faith to Islam.
Anyway. What relation does the term mentioned has to do with faith? Come on! Lets connect the dots and make a line! :D
The moment when you believe in Allah, when you believe in the Prophets, when you believe in the Angels, the Al-Quran sent, the Qiamah approaching, the Qadr that has been set by Allah, that is when you are fully in tawakkal state. Tawakkal is to firmly belief and to have perfect reliance to Allah. It is then that you will achieve your BEST STATE OF MIND. :D
I do not have that much knowledge right now. Insya-Allah, gaining from time to time. Sharing what I know, deep down. Do correct me, or you could even add-on things for this post. Jzzk. ;)
P/S : Be firm of yourselves, people. A great person has got good principles in life! Insya-Allah. Have faith in Allah. He knows best. Wallahu 'Alam. ;)

Can You Hear Me Now?
Assalamualaikum wbt.
Thoughts. Expressions. Pictures. Videos. Writings. Rights. Freedom of speech. Demonstrations? Ermmmm. A big NO!
Alright! Those aren't actually where this post is heading to. Just being a little provocative. Chillax! :P
Lets get to the REAL thing, shall we? Hihi. :)
Ideas pops up randomly sometimes. For instance, blogging. I'd loved to write everyday if I could, but the problem is, there's not enough ideas in my head to share. This is when discussions and my usrah (Islamic circle of sharing) sessions come in handy, helping me generate fresh and more importantly, good ideas to be shared. A matter of inspiration, it seemed.
Voicing out one's opinion is never wrong, not in legal terms nor in social terms. Hey, its a freeeeee world! But, there's always limits to it. Everything has its limits in this world. But again, those limits do not mean you should keep quiet, just read your books and do that "dunno" face about the current issues around us. Students, or should I put us under the Youth category, must be alert of the things we are in. Our religion, our nation, our people and ourselves, of course! :)
P/S : This feels empty. I still am having those restriction in freedom of speech! Free me. Free us! Insya-Allah. :D

PUISI 2011 : Akademi Al-Fateh
Bismillahir rahmaanir rahim. :)
Honestly, I never knew we had a very young and great leader of the Islamic nation, until I attended PUISI in Ballintoy, Belfast. Sultan Muhammad II also known as Sultan Muhammad Al-Fateh was one of the great leader of the Ottoman empire in the 14th century. Believe it or not, he managed to conquer Constantinople (now known as Istanbul) when he was only about the age of 21. Subhanallah. Such a young man, with such a great wisdom. Al-Fateh means "The Conqueror" in Arabic.
I'm already entering the 20s this year, and as far as I remember, I've not make any big contribution to the Islamic world. But, that doesn't mean we can't bring any! We are still young, and youth are the power of the nation. Together, we could pull through it! :)
Every tiny little changes brings about big difference. Perhaps, even a smile could change the world? Only God knows, Allahu alam. So, put your smile on often. :)
We as the youth generation, the future leaders, should strengthen these 3 main abstract qualities in ourselves. To build the best nation, the people must be among the best. Wouldn't you want to be in the best nation as it was in the Ottoman empire? Thus, do not only focus on our IQs and EQs, SQ actually plays the most important role in life. From within you shall find the strength. Insya-Allah. :)
To sum it all, this programme, or should I call it as a leadership camp of PUISI 2011, really had taught me a lot. It made me think and realize that I'm still not ready to be a leader, and improvements (a lot of them!) are needed in the process of shaping a great leader. That's less important anyway. The bigger vision is to be contributors in Islamic dakwah. Lets do our part to bring Islam back on its glory. Allahu Akhbar, Allah the Almighty! :D

Adapted from one of the muslimat's group resolution after the programme. Insya-Allah, lets make it happen! :DDD |
Rasulullah S.A.W. once said : "The city of Constantinople will fall into Islam's hands. The leader/conqueror will be the best of the leaders and its army will be the best among the armies." [Hadith by Ahmad bin Hanbal]Leaders are not bosses. Instead they should follow the example made by Muhammad Al-Fateh, whom together worked with his men in the battlefield. In PUISI 2011, 3 main things were stressed on : IQ, EQ and SQ. I'm sure you've heard of all three of them, right? (And not forgetting the basic PQ = Physical Quotient. You must be physically fit too! :P)

P/S : It was the coolest camp I've ever been to! I loved the Academy and the friends I've met. Thank you all for the great spirit! ;D Sorry if this post weren't as complete as expected. I'm bad in memorizing things. Hope this much or less could benefit its readers. Fisabilillah. :)

Winter Trip to the UK! :D
Assalamualaikum, friends! Alhamdulillah, it's the first day of year 2012, and I just got back in Galway yesterday, after 2 weeks being away for my winter hols. Hee. :D
I won't be spending much attention on the details on every places I've stopped by, instead, I'll focus on what I've gained throughout the whole trip and some interesting facts from those places. Insya-Allah. :)
So, the flow of the trip was Galway - Dublin - Bristol (Bath) - Southampton - Portsmouth - London (also Oxford) - Manchester - Dublin - Ballintoy, Belfast (PUISI 2011) - Belfast - Dublin - and back to GALWAY! Hee. Alhamdulillah, everything went smooth, except for the current financial state I'm in. Economical crisis. LOL! Blaming myself for the non-stop shopaholic-ness. =S

Despite the large and heavy luggage I had to carry here and there (LOL!), Alhamdulillah, I've managed to travel to many interesting places in UK, Northern Ireland and Ireland. Thanks to my 3rd year seniors for the great invitation to the awesome winter trip! Thanks a million! :DDD
Networking is the most important thing to me since long before I flew here to Ireland. I even emphasized it on Failte Freshers' Trek Siswa video. Haha. :PPP Here's the link : Failte Freshers 2011 @ Bunratty Castle In just 2 weeks, I've got to know a lot of great friends along the journey from South to North (and had an increase in total Facebook friends, of course. LOL. :P). Cool, nice, generous people (mostly seniors). I've always loved to mingle around with people older than my age. Not saying that I don't have friends of the same age, it's just that older people are wiser, more matured and you actually could get a lot from them, as they are more experienced. :D
Too much to tell in a single post, so I will, Insya-Allah do a follow up post regarding PUISI 2011 : Akademi Al-Fateh.
So, that's it for now. If you wish to see some photos of the trip, kindly visit my Facebook photos page. 70% of it being scenery pictures. I LOVE NATURE! ;)
P/S : I wrote this since yesterday, and only managed to complete it today. So, it's a 2011/2012 post! Heee. ;DDD
