Alkisah pertandingan tarik tali.

Bismillahir rahmanir rahim. Assalamualaikum wbt.

Baiklah. :)

"Like a rope pulling contest. When both sides have the equal amount of strength, the force of tension on the rope will eventually split it apart. And there it goes, disconnection between both the sides. But, each gets only half. So, when will it ever be a rope of full length again? Never. Wanna stay united? Stop pulling and be on one side instead!"

Tetapi itulah manusia, bersikap judgmental. Lumrah? Mungkin lumrah Melayu. LOL.

Ponder upon it.

Semoga diberkati Allah. ;)

P/S : Instead of emphasizing about our race, lets think about spreading the religion and words of Allah to people around us. Islam is the way of life, it's our DEEN! Masya-Allah. :')

Marah? Supress it!

Assalamulaikum wbt. :)

Ever felt angry and wanna let it off to someone or something? Felt like screaming your lungs off at the edge of the cliff? Here's the solution to all that! :D

Shared by a lovely sister from Cork on my Facebook status, a real great reminder! Masya-Allah.

Doa Menjauhkan Permusuhan :

Mari SUPRESS ANGER! :D

Poster spirit!

Assalamualaikum wbt.

So, what is this week's progress?

Nothing extraordinary, except for the fact that I had Renal MCQ Final Exam on Friday and the days in the week was definitely "filled" with lecture notes and textbook piling up on my table. Alhamdulillah, I'm grateful to still have the time and the blessed ability to learn. Syukran Ya Rabb. :D

Anyway, apart from being all nerdy this week, I still had time to design posters, I mean, A LOT OF POSTERS on A LOT OF TRIAL BASIS. I did not realise since when I picked up this hobby of editing pictures and videos for leisure purposes. Hope this would benefit myself and people around me. Insya-Allah. Afterall, everything we do is for Allah, right? Literally, everything. :)

Enjoy understanding this Hadith-Poster :

P/S : Tomorrow will be back on study mode, preparing for the next paper - GIT! Insya-Allah. ;)

Quick break!

Assalamualaikum wbt.

Just a quick break from those lecture slides.

FORMULA 1

Despite of Seb's rough early races in this new 2012 GP's season, I still am a BIG FAN of Seb! ;D

Of time restrictions, I missed all three races in Australian GP, Malaysian GP and last week's China GP. Next would be in Bahrain, and again, because of the final exams, I will miss the next coming races until the end of May. ;(

P/S : I love F1, but that doesn't mean I'm obsessed with the sports. This is a hobby of mine, that takes away those tensions and bring about passion in me. And of course this comes second after the rememberance of Allah swt. ;D

Lillahi Ta'ala

Bismillahir-Rahmannir-Rahim. In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Compassionate.

Haven't had time to blog. Exams and bla bla bla. Ah, excuses! Where there's a will, there's a way! Make time, you lazy writer! Grrrr.

Fine.

Time is too precious to waste, especially in this tertiary education level a.k.a. the university life. To make it sound more horrific, being a medical student, where life begins to become more "interesting". Hmmm. People may wonder, where had your time gone to? You go through the same routine as everybody does. You sleep, you eat, you study, you pray, you play and etc. What is there so different about you, for you to complain about not having enough time of 24 hours a day? Ah, typical homosapien, that's what we always do. Complain!

Yes, we are in the state of feeling insufficient all the time. But you know what? Allah did mentioned in the Holy Quran about time :

"By time. Indeed, mankind is in loss. Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience." [Al-'Asr (103) : 1-3]

We all know this earthly life is just a dock or rather should I say, a shipping port, where our souls are temporarily docking, seeking for the Awesome-est eternal life in the hereafter, aiming high for Jannah (heaven). And much of our time, I must admit, mine too, are displayed of being invested on the Earth solely. Do we not listen and read and understand the words of Allah? We are sent down on Earth to be caliphs, to carry out our duties as the humble servants of Allah the Almighty, to worship Him, to seek His blessings.

Hope at least a little of these small words from me could bring benefit. Insya-Allah.

Before I end this short message of mine, lets watch an inspiration video on Life. ;D

"The purpose of Life is to discover your gift,
The meaning of Life is to give your gift away.
The place you are in,
Needs you today."

Masya-Allah. ;)

P/S : Tangled mind filled with worries of the exam. Bittaufiq wannajah, friends! May Allah ease our days ahead! Amiin. ;)

Evaluate.

Assalamulaikum wbt. Bismillahirrahmannirrahim. :)

Three awesome days in a row!

Just finished having the big Galway event - PASAR MALAM GALWAY! Woohoo. Alhamdulillah. Glad that everything went well. AZZURO won the decoration category! *I decorated it :P*

Friday marked the last day of the Anatomy Laboratory Spot Test and on the night itself, traveled to Dublin to board the early morning flight to Birmingham, headed to University of Warwick for SMILE! And just got back in Galway today at 2.30am, and tadaaa Pasar Malam at 2pm. Allah gave me strength despite the flu, cough and fever I had during the journey. Alhamdulillah, praise Allah the Almighty, Allahu Akhbar. May Allah bless us and let us be strong all throughout our life! Insya-Allah. :D

What's SMILE all about? Lets elaborate on it, should we? :)

First of all, SMILE is an abbreviation for "Spring Moment with ILuvIslam" (don't ask where the E comes from. Haha. xD). This spring, the theme was :"Islamic Malaysia, Hope or Harm?". Prof. Dr. MAZA and a few more other well known individuals were present at the forum. It was a really interactive and professionally conducted session, filled with freshly generated ideas and thoughts. I really respected the speakers and the audiences of their professional attitude. I wish all the Malaysians both the overseas and local people could have this kind of conversation under one roof. =/

The main discussion was, the idea of Malaysia being implemented towards a more Islamic approach and thoughts about both the parties, UMNO and PAS in Malaysia. From what I've chipped from their shared thoughts, implementing an Islamic country isn't an impossible thing, rather it is the way it should be. From the history of the Islamic empire back then, even from Rasulullah s.a.w. building Madinah, we could see that an Islamic country would not and should not be only for muslims, its for everyone, including the non-muslims. Where else should we learn to build a great nation if not from Rasulullah? Islam is the way of life, the best way of living! :D

People always would want to avoid talking about leadership issues and political issues of our country. Why? Because they aren't open-minded enough to accept critics. Critics or in other word, feedbacks, are to me the most essential component of life. Without these elements, we can't ever possibly achieve excellence or to a more extreme term, PERFECTION. :D

Forget about racism, forget about your cultural importance, forget about your race, forget about being selfish, we are all human, we are MUSLIMS, we should bring ISLAM to the top.

Being open-minded is not only being tolerance, it's a whole lot more than that! I really dislike it when people are so pro-race and they forget about the more important part of them, which is ISLAM. Yes, being in a race, having and practicing the culture of the race we are born in is not wrong at all, but once it is more superior than the Islamic culture, to me, it is no good anymore. It should be left, immediately.

Be open-minded. We are professional and highly educated people, we can control our emotions and think rationally. We are big enough to evaluate our own country. Change it or shape it. Your choice. :D

P/S : We either make a change or wait for the change to come. You either wait for the last train or you join the early train. The earlier the better. Heee. Jzzk. :)

Spring is Here!

Assalamualaikum wbt.

Been away from blogging for more than a week! Blame the books and tests for it. :P

Anyway, the chilly, sunny SPRING is HERE! Subhanallah! You can't imagine how happy and excited the people here are celebrating the sunshine at the beach and on the bed of grass. I've had enough of the winter season in Galway, Ireland. This is the time to enjoy ourselves under the Sun (despite the Spot Tests this week :P).

Here are a few pictures of the bright sunlight! Enjoy and don't forget to appreciate the sunlight in your place, wherever you are. :D

Okay, that's it for today! Have to get back to my studies. Hee. May Allah ease me, my friends, and all the people who are having their exams/tests all throughout this month. Insya-Allah.

P/S : Salthill is where the heart is. :D

Blessed Friendship. :)

Assalamualaikum wbt, dear readers.

The ukhuwah (friendship ties) is totally priceless. Money can't buy it, literally.

Yes, friends often share their joy and sorrow. But, what makes us a good friend to our friends?
One companion asked Rasulullah (saw), “Who can be my best friend?” Rasulullah (saw) answered, “Your best friend is a person : When you see him, he makes you remember Allah; when you listen to him, knowledge of Islam is increased; and when you see his actions, you are reminded of the life of the Hereafter.”
The answer is as above. :D

Although our ukhuwah never had reached the level of perfectness, it actually meant a lot as it is now. I'm grateful that Allah has sent me the right and the wrong people in this life. Every single person I've known had taught me much about life. Alhamdulillah, thank you Allah. =')

Rasulullah (saw) taught his companions by saying, “Shall I tell you a thing by which you can obtain good in this world and the Hereafter?” Be with the assemblies of those who remember Allah (swt). Be busy in remembrance of Allah (swt) when you are alone. Be in the gatherings wherein knowledge of Islam and Qur’an is taught. Be with those whose love is for the sake of Allah (swt). Be with those whose dislike is for the sake of Allah (swt).

P/S : Lets be super cool friends! Lets remind the people around us of Allah, and also a reminder for ourselves! Masya-Allah. :D

Family!

Assalamualaikum wbt.

I'm sure everyone loves their family to the top of their hearts. Me too!!! =')

After Allah SWT and Rasulullah SAW, to me, my family comes right after. No other human being could understand me better than my lovely family members. My mum, my dad, my sisters, my brothers. Never did I appreciate them when I was home in Malaysia. Separated by continents, now only I started to realize how much they meant to me. And how much love had they pour onto me. I miss them. Yes, all of them, including my cats. ='(

Subhanallah. :')

P/S : Homesick! Hold on, 2 more months. Be patient please, Aisha! T-T

A Better Us

Assalamualaikum wbt.

How are your imaan doing, friends? I hope it is in its perfect condition. Insya-Allah. Amin. :D

Haven't had time to sit down, collect and express words on the blog. May Allah bless our efforts of filling our lives with useful knowledge. Tarbiyyah, the school of nurturing oneself. May Allah bless our efforts. Insya-Allah. Lets change our habits. Leave all those "black" dots in our hearts and clean it constantly, with knowledge, the most important thing in building a newer, a better us. :)

Too much to describe. Lets just share this little cute picture I made using Kak Lin's iPad. Weee! iPad okay! :P

Allah did not created us to be just a stagnant creature who does not move, static of its position as a tree. Lol. Constant changes must be achieved at least everyday. This may sound a little hyperbolic, but you do change everyday, seriously. Do an observation on yourself from now on. Keep track of your changes. Insya-Allah, with God's willing, that everyday changes will bring a whole newer, and better you. Amin. :)
P/S : May Allah ease the changes I chose to be in. Insya-Allah. :)

Masya-Allah. There's so much I must do to change. We all love Allah do we? Lets be Queens of Islam! Insya-Allah. :)

P/S : A change is hard, but with determination, we can do it! Insya-Allah. Amin. =')

Inguinal Canal.

Assalamualaikum wbt.

I know the title is weird. Unusual. Never talked about anatomy in my blog so far ( have I?).

So, what's up with the catchy anatomical title there, Aisha? Nothing. Just a random name I thought I'd give to the post title today. Just to make sure I'm still in the Anatomy mode of studying. LOL.

The inguinal canal is a canal where the spermatic cord (male) or round ligament (female) passes through. It extends from the deep inguinal ring to the superficial inguinal ring.

My point here is to relate the "inguinal canal" closely to our life. How is that so?

It's a canal, it's like a transition zone. What's our canal then? Life, exactly! Life is a transition zone we go through before heading to the hereafter(akhirat). Canals are always surrounded by walls. Superior, inferior, anterior and posterior walls. So is life. We are surrounded by so many things, that we sometimes aren't aware of its existence. We tend to focus on the things ahead of us, thus neglecting other important matters on the other 3 corners.

Life goes on. Do you care about your life's "canal"? Take note of the people around you. Observe them, talk to them, help them. Wallahu 'alam.

“With every hardship there is ease, with every hardship there is ease.”  Quran (94:5-6)

P/S : Stopped to ponder upon life. Yes, time is such a short time, but life goes to waste if you don't make use of everything Allah has gifted to you in life. ;)

Apologies.

A million apologies to everyone for not having time to engage in any form of long term conversation. I'm so sad that I don't even have time to throw myself in a chit-chat session with my family, my friends, and the people around me. I'm time-deprived. Time envies me. =(

A gazillion apologies to everyone for not spending much attention to my surroundings. Hectic-ness had got me going out and about. May Allah still grant us time to organize our life. After all, this dunya isn't all about studying and working, there are a whole lot of things apart from these items. Carry out Ibadah. Do things for the sake of Allah. Insya-Allah. May Allah grant us barakah. Insya-Allah. Tsabat. Stay strong, hold on tight, Aisha. :D

Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people."  [Al-Baqarah : 286]

P/S : Experiences teaches you a lot. Appreciate every bit of Allah's gift. =')

Have you ever felt sad?

Assalamualaikum! :D

Human and emotions. Never will be separated. Allah has created us mankind, as a creature full of emotions. My dad once said, females use 90% emotions, and 10% of intellectual in their life. And males use 90% intellectual and only 10% of emotions in life. Thus, that is why the male species is far more suitable to lead in any situation. This was based on some research he read through. Wallahu 'alam.

When I come to think of it, certainly, no doubt, it's true. I'm not being sexist at all. Lets put down our ego and agree on this.

"Butterflies. Beautiful, yet fragile. So are women."

Girls/females do really have fluctuating emotions. They may seem tough outside, but they are as fragile as a glass in the inside. I couldn't agree more on this. Because, I'm always weak in managing my emotions. Often do I break down in tears. Mainly because of little stress/pressure I received. BUT! This does not indicate that females are weak. They are the strongest in fact! :D

Imagine a mother carrying a fetus in her womb, do you how heavy that is? And how much pain do mothers go through during labor? It was said that labor pain is the closest pain to death during death. Wallahu 'alam. That is how strong and noble mothers are. Appreciate your mother. I love my mum! ;D

Anyway, sadness come and go. So does happiness. My theory of sadness is happiness. When you are at your very bad state of mind, you tend to be such pessimist, that not even the best advice could help elevate your mood. After every sadness, Allah always sends lotsa lotsa lotsa great things for us. Always. Insya-Allah. When we are sad, lonely, solo, forever alone, and etc (LOL!), we are actually far more closer to Him. Sadness is happiness. Sadness brings us closer to Him, sadness draws us back to Him. Because we know, there's no one, except Allah that heals, that listens, that solves and does everything for our own good. He is the ultimate One. Allahu Akhbar. :)

P/S : Thank you Allah, for dipping me into these thoughts. SubhanAllah. =')

Monolog Dalaman.

Assalam. :)

Just a quick share.

(Hadis Riwayat Bukhari)
Ingat 5 perkara, sebelum lima perkara :

  • Hidup sebelum mati.
  • Kaya sebelum miskin.
  • Lapang sebelum sempit.
  • Sihat sebelum sakit.
  • Muda sebelum tua.

Sesungguhnya, dunia ini sementara. Akhirat itu kekal. Maka, kejarlah yang kekal, bukan yang sementara. Dunia ini umpama tempat persinggahan kita untuk mencari bekalan untuk hari akhirat nanti (The Day of Judgement). Insya-Allah. Kekuatan itu datang dari Allah. May Allah bless.

Wallahu 'alam. :)

Concise.

♥ Assalam. How's life, peeps? Great? Alhamdulillah. :)

Hectic week. Busyness had got me going nuts. Okay, not nuts, just a little tiring. :P

Balancing. The Act of Balancing. They sounded the same, don't they? Perhaps yea. Juggling between things. Studies. Work. Play. Rest. Simple aren't they? But, only God knows how they could become complicated. Wallahu 'alam. =S

Guess what? My parents came last week. Hee. More less reduced my homesickness. Alhamdulillah. :D Went about Connemara and etc. Let the pictures describe it all. ;)

Also, I had the Malaysian Cultural Day last Thursday in Aras Na McLeinn, NUI, Galway. It went fantastically well. Thanks to everyone for co-operating! I just love it when the ukhuwah goes well between all. Alhamdulillah. May Allah prolong our ukhuwah. :)

Studies? Don't you worry. I'm trying my best to juggle between things to carry out my duty as His slave. Doing my best. Trying hard. Pushing myself out of my comfort zone. Constantly. For my own good. =')
ÙˆَÙ…
(And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.)
[Adz Dzariyat [51] : 56].
Fardu 'Ain and Fardu Kifayah. Both have great importance in our life. But, do we know what they really mean?

First of all, as we all know, Fardu 'Ain is something we (every muslim) must (wajib) do in our life. i.e. : Shalat, Fasting during Ramadhan and etc. Meanwhile, Fardu Kifayah is a must for only part of the community. i.e. : Doing business, Being leaders, doctors, study and etc. But sometimes, little things such as resting could become fardu kifayah too, you know. For example, going for a walk/jog too could be fardu kifayah. Think! If our intention was to make ourselves healthier, to relax ourselves for the sake of Allah, then it becomes fardu kifayah. If it was for the sake of our own pleasure, then it is totally not kifayah at all. As we become healthier, "emotionally" fit, thus we would have the strength to continue our daily chores, giving da'wah to people, continuing our jihad in our studies. Doesn't that make sense? Hee. The most important thing is our intention (Niat). Everything depends on it. SubhanAllah.:)

To wrap things up, personally, I really see a lot of changes since I first came here in Galway. May Allah give us tsabat and istiqamah in our life. Lets get to know more about Islam. By the way, Happy Maulidur Rasul. I just wish I could meet Rasulullah. ='( Lets salawat.

P/S : Exhaustion does not bring one down. Instead, it drags one's spirit to go fuming up high. Insya-Allah. Don't give up on yourself! Tsabat, tsabat. :)

Perfection?

Imperfections bring about perfection. :)

But you don't go chasing after perfection the entire time of your life. Because the imperfection of humankind is what has made the world colourful as it is today. Nothing is perfect in this world. Be patient, as the eternal space awaits us in the afterlife. Wallahu 'alam. :)

Hold On!

Assalam. Good evening, peeps! :)

Haven't really got anything to blabber about, for the past week. Initially, I wanted to share a lot of things, but nothing seemed to stand out, so I waited to choose a right time to go about composing. Alhamdulillah, I've finally found a little spare time, space and idea to pursue writing. Alhamdulillah. May Allah send me more of these things. Insya-Allah. Lets make du'a. Remember, Allah will provide. :D

Before I proceed, lets spend a minute on a Hadith by Sahih Bukhari :
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: The Prophet said, "There are two blessings which many people lose: (They are) Health and free time for doing good."
Health and free time to do good deeds. Hurm. Lets reflect upon ourselves. Isn't that true? We often neglect the bliss in life, gifted by Allah s.w.t. : Health and Time. Never did we appreciate them well.

Health. We put tons of workloads on ourselves, not giving it enough rest, and etc. And one day, when we finally fall sick, we blame the workloads. We are the one to blame! We are our body's "manager", we decide how we handle our body. Health is crucial. Yes, I'm telling that to myself as well. I'm mean towards myself. I put a lot of tensions, stress on myself. Not that I don't like to rest, but I am trained to be stressed out all the time. I am MEAN to myself, aren't I? =(

Time. Yes, we indeed have a lot of free time (sometimes). But, the question is now, did we spend it in doing good? Time is wasted like how people waste electricity nowadays. LOL. Excuse me. I'm not perfect. I do waste time too, A LOT indeed. Browsing through pointless pages of Facebook and etc. But, optimistically, I see everything as an opportunity. An opportunity to learn, self-developing skills. Only through experience do we learn the way things go about. Agree? Sometimes, even a status on Facebook could leave you deep impressions on life. Subhanallah. The point here is, take hold of every opportunity you have in this world to spread good. :)

So, that wasn't a minute spent. LOL. Anyways.

This week again, had been a little bit tiring. As usual. Life as a medical student is dull as told. But, we ought to change it to a more colourful one, shall we? Lets organise our life. Lets be great muslim and aim for Jannah! Prioritize your priorities! Insya-Allah. :D

P/S : Hold on tight. The road ahead may be bumpy. Hold on tight to what you believe is the truth and seek knowledge to make your beliefs firm. Insya-Allah. May Allah guide us towards the right path and grant us barakah. ;)

Faith. Belief. :)

Hey ya, peeps! :)

Here we go again, play time's over! And the hectic days are back on its league. Second semester, much more complicated it seemed. But, remember what our lover, Allah SWT said?
"Allah does not impose upon any soul a duty but to the extent of its ability; for it is (the benefit of) what it has earned and upon it (the evil of) what it has wrought : Our Lord! do not punish us if we forget of make a mistake; Our Lord! do not lay on us a burden as thou didst lay on those before us; Our Lord! do not impose upon us that which we have no strength to bear; and pardon us and grant us protection and have mercy on us, Thou art our Patron, so help us against the unbelieving people." [2 : 286]
Insya-Allah, may Allah ease. :')

We may not be strong at times, but Allah always sends out something, that little something which springs us back into our best state of mind. Best state of mind? Define that! Aite I will. Lets "swim" deeper into that weirdo term. :)
My definition on the term "Best State of Mind" is when one is at its peak of faith, spirit and could differentiate between what's right and what's not, think critically and sensibly. In simpler terms, it's simply the utmost happiest point in life! In this state, one wishes he/she could forever live in that particular day. That day when nothing disrupts one's mind, he/she is at total peace. Sounds so heavenly, does it? Ask yourselves, have you ever been in this state of mind? Yes, No? If so, what actually made your day?

This unexplainable feeling of being happy, feeling at peace, smiling all day long, optimism at its best, fully energetic, and etc etc. Not even a single thing could interrupt one that particular day. Hyperactivity? No.

Ever heard of Iman (إيمان)? It means inner faith in Islam. There is 6 articles of faith in Islam. What are they? Lets do a recap, friends.
  • Belief in Allah
  • Belief in Prophets
  • Belief in Angels
  • Belief in Divine Books
  • Belief in Qiamah (The Day of Judgement)
  • Belief in Qadr (Fate/Predestination)

Having faith is believing in something, very deeply and holding on to it. A total divine faith to Islam.

Anyway. What relation does the term mentioned has to do with faith? Come on! Lets connect the dots and make a line! :D

The moment when you believe in Allah, when you believe in the Prophets, when you believe in the Angels, the Al-Quran sent, the Qiamah approaching, the Qadr that has been set by Allah, that is when you are fully in tawakkal state. Tawakkal is to firmly belief and to have perfect reliance to Allah. It is then that you will achieve your BEST STATE OF MIND. :D

I do not have that much knowledge right now. Insya-Allah, gaining from time to time. Sharing what I know, deep down. Do correct me, or you could even add-on things for this post. Jzzk. ;)

P/S : Be firm of yourselves, people. A great person has got good principles in life! Insya-Allah. Have faith in Allah. He knows best. Wallahu 'Alam. ;)

Can You Hear Me Now?

Assalamualaikum wbt.

Thoughts. Expressions. Pictures. Videos. Writings. Rights. Freedom of speech. Demonstrations? Ermmmm. A big NO!

Alright! Those aren't actually where this post is heading to. Just being a little provocative. Chillax! :P

Lets get to the REAL thing, shall we? Hihi. :)

Ideas pops up randomly sometimes. For instance, blogging. I'd loved to write everyday if I could, but the problem is, there's not enough ideas in my head to share. This is when discussions and my usrah (Islamic circle of sharing) sessions come in handy, helping me generate fresh and more importantly, good ideas to be shared. A matter of inspiration, it seemed.

Voicing out one's opinion is never wrong, not in legal terms nor in social terms. Hey, its a freeeeee world! But, there's always limits to it. Everything has its limits in this world. But again, those limits do not mean you should keep quiet, just read your books and do that "dunno" face about the current issues around us. Students, or should I put us under the Youth category, must be alert of the things we are in. Our religion, our nation, our people and ourselves, of course! :)

P/S : This feels empty. I still am having those restriction in freedom of speech! Free me. Free us! Insya-Allah. :D

PUISI 2011 : Akademi Al-Fateh

Bismillahir rahmaanir rahim. :)

Honestly, I never knew we had a very young and great leader of the Islamic nation, until I attended PUISI in Ballintoy, Belfast. Sultan Muhammad II also known as Sultan Muhammad Al-Fateh was one of the great leader of the Ottoman empire in the 14th century. Believe it or not, he managed to conquer Constantinople (now known as Istanbul) when he was only about the age of 21. Subhanallah. Such a young man, with such a great wisdom. Al-Fateh means "The Conqueror" in Arabic.

I'm already entering the 20s this year, and as far as I remember, I've not make any big contribution to the Islamic world. But, that doesn't mean we can't bring any! We are still young, and youth are the power of the nation. Together, we could pull through it! :)

Adapted from one of the muslimat's group resolution after the programme. Insya-Allah, lets make it happen! :DDD
Every tiny little changes brings about big difference. Perhaps, even a smile could change the world? Only God knows, Allahu alam. So, put your smile on often. :)

Rasulullah S.A.W. once said : "The city of Constantinople will fall into Islam's hands. The leader/conqueror will be the best of the leaders and its army will be the best among the armies." [Hadith by Ahmad bin Hanbal]
Leaders are not bosses. Instead they should follow the example made by Muhammad Al-Fateh, whom together worked with his men in the battlefield. In PUISI 2011, 3 main things were stressed on : IQ, EQ and SQ. I'm sure you've heard of all three of them, right? (And not forgetting the basic PQ = Physical Quotient. You must be physically fit too! :P)

The puzzle map of Constantinople and Ottoman empire. :D
We as the youth generation, the future leaders, should strengthen these 3 main abstract qualities in ourselves. To build the best nation, the people must be among the best. Wouldn't you want to be in the best nation as it was in the Ottoman empire? Thus, do not only focus on our IQs and EQs, SQ actually plays the most important role in life. From within you shall find the strength. Insya-Allah. :)

To sum it all, this programme, or should I call it as a leadership camp of PUISI 2011, really had taught me a lot. It made me think and realize that I'm still not ready to be a leader, and improvements (a lot of them!) are needed in the process of shaping a great leader. That's less important anyway. The bigger vision is to be contributors in Islamic dakwah. Lets do our part to bring Islam back on its glory. Allahu Akhbar, Allah the Almighty! :D

Trek Siswa on PUISI 2011

P/S : It was the coolest camp I've ever been to! I loved the Academy and the friends I've met. Thank you all for the great spirit! ;D Sorry if this post weren't as complete as expected. I'm bad in memorizing things. Hope this much or less could benefit its readers. Fisabilillah. :)

Winter Trip to the UK! :D

Assalamualaikum, friends! Alhamdulillah, it's the first day of year 2012, and I just got back in Galway yesterday, after 2 weeks being away for my winter hols. Hee. :D

I won't be spending much attention on the details on every places I've stopped by, instead, I'll focus on what I've gained throughout the whole trip and some interesting facts from those places. Insya-Allah. :)

The pictorial summary of my whole 2 weeks' Winter Trip in UK and Northern Ireland. ;)

So, the flow of the trip was Galway - Dublin - Bristol (Bath) - Southampton - Portsmouth - London (also Oxford) - Manchester - Dublin - Ballintoy, Belfast (PUISI 2011) - Belfast - Dublin - and back to GALWAY! Hee. Alhamdulillah, everything went smooth, except for the current financial state I'm in. Economical crisis. LOL! Blaming myself for the non-stop shopaholic-ness. =S
Despite the large and heavy luggage I had to carry here and there (LOL!), Alhamdulillah, I've managed to travel to many interesting places in UK, Northern Ireland and Ireland. Thanks to my 3rd year seniors for the great invitation to the awesome winter trip! Thanks a million! :DDD

Soton! :D
Networking is the most important thing to me since long before I flew here to Ireland. I even emphasized it on Failte Freshers' Trek Siswa video. Haha. :PPP Here's the link :  Failte Freshers 2011 @ Bunratty Castle In just 2 weeks, I've got to know a lot of great friends along the journey from South to North (and had an increase in total Facebook friends, of course. LOL. :P). Cool, nice, generous people (mostly seniors). I've always loved to mingle around with people older than my age. Not saying that I don't have friends of the same age, it's just that older people are wiser, more matured and you actually could get a lot from them, as they are more experienced. :D

Too much to tell in a single post, so I will, Insya-Allah do a follow up post regarding PUISI 2011 : Akademi Al-Fateh.
So, that's it for now. If you wish to see some photos of the trip, kindly visit my Facebook photos page. 70% of it being scenery pictures. I LOVE NATURE! ;)

P/S : I wrote this since yesterday, and only managed to complete it today. So, it's a 2011/2012 post! Heee. ;DDD

Off for a "Long" winter holiday! Hee. :D

Hey peeps! :D

First thing first, I just had an awesome day! Went for a jog early in the morning and Ice-Skating later in the evening at Carlton Hotel, Galway! Hee. Haven't really skate for quite sometime now. Lost a bit of those special balancing skills on ice. *fell twice right down the knees! LOL* Anyway, glad to have an ice rink over here in Galway. :DDD (I loved it when they played "Fireworks" by Katy Perry. My favourite song aka Booster of all times! Heee. )

So, I'm off tomorrow night to Dublin-Bristol. Bristol-Southampton-Portsmouth-London-Manchester-Dublin-Belfast(PUISI). Long list huh? I'm just a follower, didn't even helped the seniors with anything really. Hehe. Excited to have my first winter holiday without my family. Insya-Allah, hope everything goes well as planned. Amin! May the journey throughout UK and Northern Ireland be smooth. :)

P/S : I'll try my best to update my blog with pictures to share. Insya-Allah. :)

Semester 1? Over! Hee. :)

Insya-Allah it will be over for me, for my friends. Hope no one will face any failures. :)
(Please God. I don't want to see those Biochem and Pharmacology come creeping on me again. LOL!)

Bismillahir rahmanir rahim. :)

So, 1.1 is over and here comes holiday. Yeay, my first winter holiday ever abroad! Alhamdulillah. (Oh wait! I once went to Perth, Australia during winter.) *Memory lost* Anyway, I hope this holiday would be the most memorable event so far for me. UK Winter Trip! Hee. Insya-Allah. :D

Talking about winter. Hmm. I wonder when will the snow really fall on Galway? So far there's only hail and this evening, it snows "partially". Really wants it to snow. Despite of the degree of coldness. Hee. ^-^ Lets keep our fingers crossed and hope it snows here in Galway. If not, no big deal. I could play snowball fights at Belfast anyway. Haha. :P

Aftermath of exams? Hmm. Let me see. Null! Glad its over. Never gonna face those "times" again, hoping so. Lets make du'a, whenever and wherever we are. Remember to not forget Allah in times of happiness. FYI, happiness, wealth and health is a challenge too! You need Allah's blessings always, both in hardships and happy times. Remember! :D

Okay. That's it for now. Lets get going for baking and movie marathons AND winter trip! Hehehe. :DDD
